Country cooperation strategy for WHO and Jordan, 2026–2030

Overview

The Country Cooperation Strategy for WHO and Jordan, 2026–2030, is WHO’s medium-term strategic framework for collaboration with the Government of Jordan and health partners. It sets forth the health impact and outcome results that WHO and the Government of Jordan seek to collectively achieve by the end of 2030 and provides a roadmap for WHO’s contribution to these joint objectives.

The Country Cooperation Strategy (CCS) translates WHO global and regional strategic priorities – as set out in the Fourteenth General Programme of Work (GPW14) and the WHO Regional Office for the Eastern Mediterranean’s Strategic operational plan for the Eastern Mediterranean Region, 2025–2028, and flagship initiatives – to country context, focusing on priority areas to deliver WHO’s added value in Jordan, while ensuring they intersect with United Nations Cooperation Framework (UNCF) strategic priorities. Jordan’s health priorities are to ensure universal health coverage (UHC) for all Jordanians while maintaining a strong level of emergency preparedness.
